How to Register a Company in Malaysia under SSM



SSM (Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia) is a commonly used word for the Companies Commission of Malaysia which is a statutory body under the Companies Commission of Malaysia Act 2001. It regulates companies and business affairs in Malaysia. Since its formation in 2002, it made it mandatory for all the businesses in Malaysia to go through the registration process of the Companies Commissions of Malaysia.

It was formed to serve as a regulatory body to incorporate companies and register businesses in Malaysia. Registration Process Under SSM

Photocopy of Owner and Partners’ Identity Cards
Permits & License
Supporting Letter for Business
Approval or Supporting Letter from Relevant Agency (if required)

Note- For partnership, all the partners must sign the business registration Form A after filling all the required details.

Eligibility Criteria

First of all, it is very important to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria of the Companies Commission of Malaysia or not.
